CHERRYVILLE–The identity of a woman who died in a water-skiing accident on Sugar Lake has been released by the BC Coroners Service.

46-year-old Brenda Lee Roine was water skiing with family members on Canada Day when she fell and went unconscious in the water. Her family quickly rushed her to shore, but Roine died before reaching the hospital in Vernon.
