TORONTO — A man rushed the red carpet at the Cannes film festival Friday and managed to get his head under actress America Ferrera’s dress.
Photographers shouted as Ukrainian journalist Vitalii Sediuk crawled under her gown before security guards were able to pull him away.
Ferrera, 30, was promoting the animated How to Train Your Dragon 2 and was posing for photos along with cast mates, including Canada’s Jay Baruchel, outside the Palais des Festivals.
Ferrera was visible upset but continued with the premiere.
Sediuk is well known for his celebrity hijinks. In 2012, he was slapped by Will Smith for trying to kiss the actor at a red carpet event.
Last year, he walked on stage at the Grammys to accept an award for Adele while presenter Jennifer Lopez looked on.
