Two deadly accidents in North Okanagan

NORTH OKANAGAN — Police are asking for your help after a pair of deadly accidents in the North Okanagan Sunday.

Just before 2:30 a.m. a vehicle rolled over on Whitevale Road near Lumby.

A 25-year-old man was driving the vehicle with his 23-year-old brother was in the passenger seat.

The driver was ejected from the car as a result of the crash.

His brother attempted to save his life performing CPR, but was unsuccessful.

The 25-year-old died on scene.

Meantime, at roughly 10:30 a.m., a  head on crash claimed the life of a 64-year-old Enderby man.

It happened on Enderby Grinrod Road, near Enderby.

The man was driving a motorcycle and collided with a pick-up truck.

He succumbed to his injuries on scene.

Police say he had just recently learned to ride a motorcycle.

Anyone who witnessed either crash is asked to call the RCMP.
