Kelowna truck fire stalls rush hour

KELOWNA–A truck fire stalled rush hour traffic in Kelowna Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the parking lot of Glenmore Valley Plaza, shortly after five o’clock.

That’s where they found a flat bed tow truck carrying a bobcat in flames.

It’s unclear if the truck was moving when the fire started, or was already in the lot.

Crews managed to get the fire out within minutes.

A cause for the fire is being determined.
