Flooding closes highways across Manitoba

Many highways in Manitoba have been closed because of flooding.

Province of Manitoba

WINNIPEG – Highways 45, 328, 19 and 579 are the latest Manitoba roads to close as flooding affects travel, particularly in the southwestern part of the province.

Flood preparations along Birdtail Creek prompted the closure of Highway 45 from Highway 16 to Highway 264 east of Russell, Man., and Highway 359 from Highway 476 to Highway 264 north of Birtle.
