On Monday morning, several media outlets began reporting that former Phoenix Coyotes GM Brad Treliving would be joining the Flames.

A few hours later, the Calgary Flames made it official during a news conference.

Treliving has been the Phoenix Coyotes’ Vice president of Hockey Operations and assistant general manager since July 2007.

He has also been serving as general manager of the Coyotes’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Portland Pirates.
