CALGARY- So much for spring.
Snow continued to fall in and around Calgary on Friday, with Environment Canada issuing a warning about the potential for heavy snowfall.
A low pressure system created precipitation around southern Alberta, which is expected to worsen as a disturbance from B.C. moves in.
At least 10 centimeters of snow is expected to fall, but weather officials warn that could change. Those driving on highways are urged to use extra caution.
Conditions are expected to improve by the weekend, with a high of 12° forecast for Saturday, 13° on Sunday, and 15° on Monday.
