Investigators are also reviewing another incident from earlier the same day, when two young girls had an unusual encounter with a man matching the same description.

It happened around 3:45 p.m. in the 2700 block of 499 Street S.W.

The 11-year-old girls saw a man standing near the back of a vehicle, who allegedly began touching himself as he watched them walk by.

“As they turned to look at the male, they observed the male to be masturbating in their direction,” explained A/S/Sgt. Shawn Bowen from the Calgary Police Service. “They immediately fled the area, and contacted their parents who in response also contacted police.”

Police are asking anyone with information on the incidents or person pictured in the composite sketch to contact them.
