WATCH: Justin Bieber frisked by police following arrest

TORONTO — Police in Miami Beach, Florida released closed-circuit video Thursday showing Canadian pop star Justin Bieber being frisked following his arrest on Jan. 23.

The 19-year-old was booked on suspicion of DUI, resisting arrest without violence and driving with an expired license.

In the video, Bieber appears to comply with the officer’s orders. He is told to remove his chain, sneakers, socks and hoodie and to put his hands on the counter in front of him as he is patted down.

Bieber, through his lawyers, pleaded not guilty to the charges and is scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 14. He does not have to appear. A trial date has been set for March 3.

According to public records in his native Ontario, the singer’s father Jeremy has spent time behind bars for assault causing bodily harm.
