TORONTO – As we head into what will finally be the middle of winter, temperatures across southern Ontario will begin to dip over the next few days.
Across the GTA, many have been welcoming the warmer temperatures after dealing with frigid cold at the beginning of the year. On January 3, Toronto’s daytime high was just -9.2 C, with a low of -23.8 C.
The mercury began to climb and the city has seen temperatures above the zero mark since Jan. 10. The high on Jan. 13 was a balmy 7.5 C.
But all good things must come to an end.
Beginning Wednesday, temperatures will be closer to the seasonal average of -2 C for this time of year.
As well, flurries are expected over the next few days, reminding us that winter still has another two months left.
