Walk for Wildlife

The Prairie Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre’s 5th annual “Walk for Wildlife” fundraiser is taking place on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at St. Vital Park. Our goal is to raise the necessary funds to allow the PWRC to operate on a continual basis and provide superior care to Manitoba’s injured and orphaned wildlife. WHAT: A 5 km individual or team walk or 5 or 10 km individual or team run where participants are encouraged to collect pledges/donations from family and friends that will go directly towards caring for injured and orphaned wildlife in the province of Manitoba. WHERE: St. Vital Park, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Event starts near Picnic Shelter A/B. WHEN: Saturday, September 23, 2017. Registration from 8:15-8:45 AM. Warm up Yoga from 8:30-8:50am. Please bring mats for a greater stretch. Walk begins at 9 AM. Refreshments, a Pancake breakfast, and meet and greet with the wildlife ambassadors to follow.
