This is a family friendly event on Canada Day morning. Hosted on the Alberta Legislature Grounds, these events have something for everyone – 15km road race, 15km walk, 5 km Fun Run/Walk and 2.5 Family Fun run/walk/obstacle course. In celebration of Canada’s 150th, all participants will receive a commerative finishers medal, t-shirt and water bottle. It also is a fund raising event in support of the cancer research being done by Dr. Kerry Courneya at the University of Alberta. These events are a great way for the whole family to kick off Canada Day with some healthy activity and fun.
