Calgary welcomes refugees on International Women’s Day
It’s been a hopeful start to International Women’s Day for more than 300 refugees arriving in Calgary from Afghanistan. They are now among the 40,000 refugees coming to Canada to seek safety following the Taliban takeover in 2021. Sarah Offin was there for their arrival.
