The University of Winnipeg has over 40 years of experience with summer camps. We offer week long sessions in basketball, volleyball and girls soccer, as well as a multisport option. We will be repeating our outreach sessions in Kenora, Ontario, once the details with the school there are finalized. Keep checking back for more information! Our campers will receive excellent instruction by our coaching staff and elite Wesmen student-athletes who are friendly, enthusiastic and committed to the improvement and wellbeing of each camper. A low player to coach ratio (6 to 1) allows for maximum individual attention. Campers are grouped by grade and ability for an equal mix of fun and skill development. Everyone receives a camp shirt. Basketball, volleyball and soccer campers will go home at the end of the camp with a basketball, volleyball or soccer ball. Steve Nash basketball campers will receive a reversible jersey, bag, poster and certificate.

We are using this online silent auction as a way to increase our funding to develop and deliver exciting new programming here at the Dalnavert Museum. Items for auction are one beautiful painting “Resort” by local artist Kelsey Smith and a framed photograph “Cathedral” by Anna Mawdsley.

In lieu of the Canada Summer Games, we will be hosting A Sporting Good Time, which is an exhibit featuring sports equipment, attire, tools, and more between the 1890 and 1930. Come check it out and get a tour of Dalnavert while you do. Plus it’s free.
