Meryeta O’Dine and Eliot Grondin took home another bronze medal for Canada at the Beijing Olympics on Day 8 in the mixed team snowboard cross, even after a fellow snowboarder landed on her back during the competition. It was Canada’s only medal that day with Laurent Dubreuil sadly missing the podium in the 500-metre speedskate, the first time he hasn’t medalled this season.
