Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott announced on Tuesday the province would be deploying internationally educated nurses to hospitals and long-term care homes across the province in need of staffing support due to COVID-19. Elliott said more than 1,200 applicants had already expressed interest, and the hospital matching process would begin later this week.
