In a provincial COVID-19 update on Thursday, Nova Scotia’s chief medical health officer Dr. Robert Strang said the government would update its guidance on masking amid the most recent surge in COVID-19 cases. He said it is now recommended to wear three-layer medical or cloth face coverings that fit snugly.
