As the federal election campaign enters the third week, Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau announced on Tuesday if re-elected, his government would invest nearly $6.5 billion for mental health supports through a new Canada Mental Health Transfer. He also pledged to add 1,200 new mental health counsellors in post-secondary institutions.
