Manitoba’s top doctor says he’s ‘optimistic’ about 2021 CFL season

Manitoba’s chief public health officer Dr. Brent Roussin said that’s he’s “optimistic” about a 2021 CFL season after the league’s board of governors voted unanimously in favour of an amended collective bargaining agreement and starting the ’21 campaign Aug. 5. The CFL did not play in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
