Saskatchewan Health Minister Paul Merriman said on Tuesday that the “overwhelming majority” of people who ended up in hospital due to COVID-19 in May were not vaccinated. Merriman admitted that while he didn’t know the reasons these patients hadn’t received a shot, “not everyone had the chance” to get vaccinated at the time.
