Ontario’s new COVID-19 sick day program temporary, meant to get province through pandemic: labour minister

When asked why the province’s new paid sick leave plan, the Ontario COVID-19 Worker Income Protection Program, is temporary, Labour Minister Monte McNaughton said on Wednesday the goal of the program is “to get Ontario and our families through COVID-19.”
