One person was taken to hospital following a house fire near Rice Lake on Thursday afternoon. The blaze broke out before 3 p.m. Firefighters from three stations in Alnwick/Haldimand Township responded to the fire on Dunnette Landing.
Two people managed to get out, one with non-life threatening injuries.
OPP are investigating the cause of the fire and say it is suspicious in nature.
