Deputy Minister for Education George Daley announced guidelines for school sports and activities on Tuesday as children are set to head back to school next month, encouraging teachers to use outdoor spaces as much as possible for physical education. He said when not always feasible, gymnasium use is permitted. Students must wash and sanitize their hands before entering and leaving physical education classes. These guidelines also apply to school clubs.
