Coronavirus: Ford says extension of emergency orders will allow Ontario to act swiftly if needed

After announcing new legislation that would enable the extension of some coronavirus pandemic emergency orders over the next year, Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Solicitor General Sylvia Jones explained why emergency orders may need to be extended in the future after being asked by a reporter during a press conference at Queen’s Park on Tuesday.
