An OPP officer and a woman were taken to hospital following a collision between an OPP vehicle and a SUV on Saturday evening east of Peterborough. The collision happened at the intersection of Television Road and Lansdowne Street East, just outside the city’s limit.
The Special Investigations Unit has taken over the investigation.
OPP say the officer was treated at hospital and released. The driver of the SUV and a dog were not injured.
OPP say the officer was turning at a green light when the westbound SUV collided with the van, causing the vehicle to roll over.
