Montreal wants to help keep senior pedestrians safe

On Wednesday evening, a 93-year-old man was struck by a car in the Plateau district. So far this year, 19 pedestrians have been struck and killed in Montreal. To help curb these incidents, the SPVM and members of the NDG-CDN borough held an information session to teach pedestrians, particularly seniors, how to stay safe around heavy trucks. Global’s Tim Sargeant explains.
