On Thursday, Bloc Quebecois Leader Yves-Francois Blanchet put the spotlight on Justin Trudeau’s government for not calling out state violence in the Catalan region of Spain. Blanchet questioned why Trudeau would accept an endorsement from former U.S. President Barack Obama, but at the same time is unwilling to call out human rights abuses in Spain.
