Fire at Cobourg towing impound treated as arson case

A fire at a Cobourg towing impound is being treated as a case of arson.
Firefighters responded around 5 a.m. Sunday to Chadwick’s Towing on Veronica St. where they found a blaze which damaged several vehicles and a boat. Police determined a vehicle had also been stolen.
Damage is pegged at $100,000. Police believe the fire was deliberately set and are investigating.
