Family car set ablaze, Kelowna RCMP investigating

A car went up in flames on Monday morning in Rutland, shocking the owners who were asleep inside their home.

The family, who wishes to remain anonymous, believe they were targeted for being outspoken about a nearby housing facility being built for the homeless.

Kelowna RCMP are investigating and say the incident is being considered suspicious.
