Global News anchor and reporter Doris Maria Bregolisse and her camera operator Jeff Martin were filming nearby when a car slammed into a building on Tuesday night.
As a witness called 911 for help, Doris helped the passenger who suffered a head injury and lay on the ground.
RCMP are investigating the high-speed crash at Water Street off Harvey Avenue.
