New fruit packing line

It was a controversial decision last summer when the BC Tree Fruits Cooperative shut down its Osoyoos packing plant to consolidate operations in Oliver.

Growers protested as they were forced to deliver their product to Oliver during the busy picking season.

But now the cooperative is showing off its new state-of-the-art sorting line– saying it gives growers a competitive advantage.
