Kelowna business community disappointed homeless shelter staying open

A controversial temporary housing shelter in downtown Kelowna will not be closing this weekend, as originally planned. There had been rumours that Cornerstone was going to stay open a few months longer originally scheduled. Today BC Housing announced it will be open even longer, until March 2019. Kelly Hayes now with reaction to the news.
