Okanagan businesses are adjusting to a changing workforce while preparing for the upcoming tourism boom in the Thompson-Okanagan. During a job fair on Mar. 15 over 200 prospective employees attended the one day event hoping to walk out of the job fair having secured a new job or at least schedule an interview. The job fair organizers say that by 2020, there will be more than 12,000 new tourism jobs in the Thompson-Okanagan and about 101,000 across B.C. Sydney Morton reports.
