Fruit growing is a multi-million dollar industry for the Okanagan, but finding enough workers is a challenge for local orchardists. Some hire fruit pickers from other countries, who come to Canada under the seasonal agricultural worker program. Now Global News has learned Mexico is refusing to send migrant workers to some Okanagan farms.
