Vaseux Lake residents demand timely removal of milfoil

It’s a pesky foreign invader that causes issues not only for fish– but for people–who want to swim in lakes in the Okanagan.

Milfoil is an invasive plant species first introduced into our lakes in the 1970’s.

Now a group of residents living near Vaseux Lake want the local government to take action to remove the problem plant.
