There is an economic boom underway in the South Okanagan. Part of that is from the new prison near Oliver, which is injecting money into the local economy.
Money is also flowing in through the wine industry. As Shelby Thom reports, one winery has been thrust into the national spotlight while a multi-million dollar winery under construction is already generating revenue.
