Gusty winds continue to challenge Okanagan flood barriers

Gusty winds of up to 50 km/h blew through Penticton as expected Thursday evening, sending waves crashing into flood control measures on Okanagan Lake.

While Okanagan Lake has receded in recent days by only millimetres, there are still concerns for further flooding during stormy weather.

Okanagan Lake reached 75 cm above full pool last weekend.
