Desperate times lead to desperate measures and in the south Okanagan, outreach workers are sounding the alarm over a growing number of women who are trading sex for their basic needs. Workers say these women are being exploited and because they are so poor, they’re willing to do anything just to survive. Neetu Garcha has more on Penticton’s troublesome social crisis.
