Fri, Oct 7: It’s a first look at the coolest library in Canada. Vaughan’s Civic Centre Resource Library is a community hub that includes a fully loaded recording studio, media room with green screens, 3D printers, moveable walls, USB outlets, an outdoor terrace with WiFi access and free iPad and laptops to use in the space. The 36,000 square foot building is a stark departure from the stuffy libraries of the past, which may explain the spike in attendance. Minna Rhee has more.
