Fire crews mopping up Testalinden Creek Wildfire

It has been an interesting month for people living in and around Oliver, as the Testalinden Creek Wildfire burned stubbornly. Officials say the fire is no longer a threat to properties living in the interface area and so the evacuation alert for 180 homes has been lifted. Mop up operations are underway as 99 firefighters, a couple helicopters and five pieces of heavy equipment assist.
