It has been an interesting month for people living in and around Oliver, as the Testalinden Creek Wildfire burned stubbornly. Officials say the fire is no longer a threat to properties living in the interface area and so the evacuation alert for 180 homes has been lifted. Mop up operations are underway as 99 firefighters, a couple helicopters and five pieces of heavy equipment assist.
