A Peterborough woman has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to a man’s death in Lakefield on Friday afternoon.
The Peterborough Police Service say around 1:30 p.m., officers located a 60-year-old man with serious injuries at a residence in the area of Queen and Burnham Streets in the village of Lakefield.
He later died in hospital.
A 26-year-old woman from Peterborough was arrested at the scene and charged with first-degree murder.
