An admitted art thief sentenced to one day in jail for the theft of a statue in December was busted for allegedly shoplifting just days after his release.

'To target a non-profit in the middle of the downtown Vancouver core is pretty devastating for us,' Marina de Pina-Jenkins with PAL Vancouver told Global News of the stolen art.
