The RCMP Heritage Centre in Regina is advancing plans to become Canada’s newest national museum to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Mounted Police in 2023.

Regina's RCMP museum will be the third national one outside of the Ottawa region; the other two are Halifax's Pier 21 Museum of Immigration and Winnipeg's Human Rights Museum.
