Filed in B.C. Supreme Court, the lawsuit alleges that the former priest and another unnamed man sexually abused a 12-year-old five times between 1974 and 1975.

Students have been attending classes at St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School since 1939. It was opened by the Sisters of Charity from Halifax and began with only three students.
