A Manitoba hotel owner says he has been forced to close his hotel and put it up for sale because Ottawa owes him $3 million in unpaid bills.

The owner of Misty Lake Lodge said he is owed $3 million and neither MANFF nor the federal government has come up with the money he says he's owed for housing the evacuees since the 2011 spring flood.
