The Los Angeles Police Department confirms there is an "open investigation of an alleged sexual battery" involving former Oiler Mike Comrie.

Hilary Duff says her marriage to Canadian hockey player Mike Comrie "wasn't working well enough" for them to stay together and she no longer believes people are meant to be together forever.

The 26-year-old singer/actress and the 33-year-old ex-NHLer said in a statement the split was a mutual decision.
