The Make-A-Wish magical kingdom sprouted to life on the Thomson family's Swift Current acreage over the past few weeks while Bella and her mom Kyla were in hospital in Toronto.

Kyla Thomson, whose daughter Bella has spent years in hospital, says she hopes seeing her daughter's upbeat energy can help other parents who have children in hospital.

For the last three years, Kyla Thomson's daughter has spent over 600 nights at the Alberta Children's Hospital and Thomson has learned how to parent a child with complex medical needs.
