The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (SARM) said Wednesday that it is opposing Bill C-21 and its amendments intended to keep firearms off the streets.

California will become the first state that allows family members to ask a judge to remove firearms from a relative who appears to pose a threat, under legislation Gov. Jerry Brown signed Tuesday.
