Preparations are underway to accommodate thousands of students back into Fort McMurray schools. The two main schools districts expects to see about 85 to 90 per cent of the student population return after May's devastating wildfires.

On Thursday night, parents learned their children will be moving to two schools a month earlier than originally planned.
