The producer and director of the documentary "Kimmapiiyiptssini: The Meaning of Empathy" wanted to share how her home of Kainai is trying to address the opioid crisis.

An Indigenous filmmaker and member of the Kainai First Nations, is hoping her new film will shed light on the community work done on the Blood Tribe since the opioid crisis hit.
